Gerard received his J.D. from Widener University School of Law in 1983, attended Cambridge University in 1983, attended Princeton University 1972-74, attended Emmanuel College, and recieved his B.A. from Penn State University in 1969. Neil Evan Botel, Esq. graduated from Widener University School of Law in 1999 and has been practicing law for the past decade.  Neil attended The University of Pennsylvania for his B.A. Degree and spent years working for professional associations and for private business enterprises in the transportation and construction industries before getting his J.D..  Neil Botel is admitted to the Pennsylvania Bar Association, the United States District Court Eastern District of Pennsylvania, the United States Third Circuit Court of Appeals, and is a member of The American Bar Association. Richard A. Stanko, Esq.

Richard R. Stanko began practicing law in 1979 upon graduation from Dickinson School of Law. For the past 30 years, he has achieved excellent and noteworthy results for his clients involved in civil litigation. Rick handles all types of personal injury cases, including automobile accidents, wrongful death, slip and fall injuries on the property of others, injuries caused by defective products, medical malpractice and civil rights cases and other suits against government agencies. Rick graduated Magna cum laude from LaSalle College (now University). Needless to say, he is a very bright individual.

Eric E. Shore, DO, MBA, Esq.

Dr. Eric Shore is a man who does it all. Shore, a founding member of Kane & Shore, LLC, is one of only a handful of people in the United States with academic backgrounds in Medicine, Law and Business.   Like the rest of our lawyers, an extremely bright individual.  Eric works 'of counsel' with Schrom & Shaffer, PC. and brings a great mind to our legal strategies.  He practiced Internal Medicine for more than 28 years, serving as a member of hospital executive committees, Medical Director of long term care facilities, and as a healthcare executive in several corporations. He is a lifelong resident of the Philadelphia area, where he has lived with his two sons.

 

In addition to his law practice, Dr. Shore is a licensed pilot, mariner, published author, and in his "spare time" enjoys sculpting, the piano and guitar, golf and tennis.

John Berryhill, Ph.d., Esq.

John Berryhill has a Ph.d. in electrical engineering, and he was admitted to practice in patent matters before the USPTO in 1992. Dr. Berryhill recently began to focus primarily on internet legal issues.  Dr. Berryhill has represented plaintiffs and defendants in patent, copyright, and trademark matters, including dozens of disputes under the ICANN Uniform Domain Name Dispute Resolution Policy, and has served on several ICANN working groups and task forces. Currently a voting member of the ICANN Registar’s Constituency, Dr. Berryhill has extensive experience in helping domain registrants and registrars navigate the arcane world of internet politics, and counseling clients on defending their rights in cyberspace.

Arlene Romano
Paralegal

Arlene has a private paralegal practice under the name, Services For Lawyers, which includes traditional paralegal work and special education advocacy.  Arlene received her paralegal certificate at the Mainline Paralegal Institute in 1980. She received her Criminal Justice certificate in 1992 and a B.A. In Sociology in 1996. In addition, she is a member of the Justinian Law Society of Delaware County, PA. Currently, she is also a mediator for the non-profit Center for Resolutions based in Media. She is a married mother of 2. In her free time Arlene volunteers for several animal rescue agencies locally and regionally based, and works as a conflict coach for adjudicated youths.
